Adam Hayes, APRN, PMHNP

Adam PMHNP-BC is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Millikin University in Decatur and his Master of Science in Nursing – Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Chamberlain University.

Adam enjoys working with people of all backgrounds and is currently accepting new clients age 12 – 64. Adam utilizes an evidence-based approach to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for adults, adolescents, and children. Some of his practice specialties include (but are not limited to) depression, anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.

Adam’s faith informs his clinical practice by cultivating a space of unconditional compassion, non-judgmental acceptance, and unwavering hope. He views his role as a calling to serve and heal, guided by principles of empathy and respect for every person's inherent dignity and worth in Christ Jesus. For patients who share his faith or are exploring their own spirituality, he offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and spiritual insight, helping them find strength and meaning within their beliefs during challenging times.

In Adam’s spare time he enjoys serving as one of the worship leaders at Renaissance Church in Decatur and going on walks with his Wife and his dog Zeus.
