Owner/Director
If your relationship has been shaken by betrayal, or you’re trying to rebuild trust after infidelity, Carrie provides a steady, compassionate space to begin again.
She works primarily with couples and individuals navigating relationship repair, helping them move from confusion and pain toward clarity, honesty, and deeper connection.
As the founder of Truth in Love Counseling, Carrie is passionate about helping individuals and the Church experience emotional and relational health. Her leadership shapes the heart of the practice, while she continues to work with a limited number of clients.

Kevin Crutcher, LCPC
Clinical Director
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to move forward as a family, Kevin helps bring structure, insight, and practical change.
He works with children, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Kevin has a special interest in how the brain works and uses evidence-based approaches to help clients experience real, lasting progress.
In addition to seeing clients, Kevin provides clinical supervision and support to the team, helping ensure high-quality care across the practice.
Director of Development
If your marriage feels disconnected, stuck, or in need of deeper understanding, Dr. Foster helps couples rebuild connection and move forward with clarity.
He specializes in working with couples and ministry leaders, using proven relationship approaches to help partners reconnect and communicate more effectively.
In addition to counseling, Dr. Foster provides psychological testing and brings a unique perspective through his work as a Certified Spiritual Director.
Phil Foster, PhD, LCP
Director of Administrative Services
Jay works with men who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward—especially when past experiences or trauma are still affecting the present.
Using EMDR and practical, structured approaches, he helps clients process what’s been holding them back and regain clarity, direction, and confidence.
Jay also plays a key leadership role in supporting the team and will be leading services at the new Normal location.

Adam Hayes, APRN, PMHNP
If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, mood instability, or focus, Adam provides thoughtful medication support to help you feel more stable and in control.
He works with teens and adults, offering evaluation and ongoing medication management when appropriate. Adam collaborates with your counselor when needed, helping ensure your care is both comprehensive and personalized.

Susan Plezia, LCPC
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with your mood, or navigating the pressures of young adult life, Susan helps you find steady ground again.
She has a special passion for working with college students and young adults, especially those facing life transitions, identity questions, or stress related to school and relationships.
Susan also works with teens and adults of all ages, including individuals with disabilities.
Shelley Bauer, LPC
If you’ve experienced religious trauma, abuse, or deeply painful life experiences, Shelley provides a safe, compassionate space to begin healing.
She works with individuals and couples, helping clients process trauma and rebuild a sense of safety, identity, and trust. Shelley brings a gentle, grounded presence to her work and is also a Certified Spiritual Director.
Jordan Halpin, LCPC
If you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, or struggling to regulate your emotions, Jordan helps you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find a way forward.
She works with teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life changes. Jordan also has a special interest in supporting mothers during the perinatal season.
Barton Shaw, LPC
If you’re longing for healthier relationships or feel stuck in patterns that keep repeating, Barton helps you understand what’s going on beneath the surface and build stronger connections.
He works with individuals and couples, bringing a trauma-informed approach and EMDR training to help clients experience meaningful, lasting change.
Barton especially enjoys working with adults and young adults.
Keith Studnicki, LCPC
If anxiety, mood struggles, or past experiences are interfering with your daily life, Keith helps you better understand what’s happening and how to move forward.
He works with teens and adults, using a thoughtful, neuroscience-informed approach alongside EMDR to support healing and growth.
Keith is especially helpful for clients who want both insight and practical tools.
Kath Bush, PhD, LCPC
If your family is struggling with attachment, trauma, or relational challenges, Kath brings deep expertise and care to help restore connection and stability.
She works with clients of all ages, with a strong focus on families, children, and attachment-based work. Kath is also trained in EMDR, TBRI, and Theraplay, and offers consultation for adoption and child-focused services.

She verifies insurance, manages billing, and works behind the scenes to ensure everything is handled accurately—so you can focus on your care, not the paperwork.

Director of Hospitality/Therapy Dog
Maple is our friendly therapy dog who loves greeting clients and bringing a sense of comfort to the space.
She’s still learning her manners, but enjoys sitting with clients, offering calm companionship, and making the office feel a little more like home. Maple is available for sessions Monday–Thursday upon request.
