Clinical Director Job Description

Purpose: The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and providing therapeutic services to clients in a Christian Counseling practice. They will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of therapists. As a part of the Executive Team, this individual agrees to embrace, uphold, and disseminate the values and culture of Truth in Love Counseling & Care.

Therapist Role

• Provide an average of 23 hrs/week of billable clinical practice.

• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate therapy interventions.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Complete appropriate documentation for all client interactions within 48 hours.

• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Contribute to social media content and other community engagement opportunities on occasion.

• Attend weekly all staff meetings and monthly staff development meetings.

Director Role

• Supervise and mentor clinical staff.

• Provide guidance and support to therapists in their professional development.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices, including licensure requirements.

• Track therapists‘ completion of documentation, CEU requirements, and CAQH updates.

• Be available for clinical consultation for challenging or crisis cases.

• Attend weekly Executive Team Meetings, and other meetings as needed.
